**YCYC Hub is growing into a more complete home for communities, creators, teams, and gamers.** This development update highlights the public-facing work that is shaping the experience today.

## A more useful public discovery experience

YCYC Hub is being built to make it easier to discover communities and the people, events, and media that bring them to life. The public frontend is designed around approved community listings, community detail pages, upcoming events, featured streamers, videos, and Discord communities.

Visitors can browse communities by relevant categories and activity, open a public community page, review its public information, see upcoming events, explore featured media, and follow the community’s public Discord link when one is available.

## Community pages that tell the full story

Community websites are designed to be more than a single landing page. A community can present its identity, welcome message, about information, team or roster, announcements, events, contact options, Discord connection, and featured media in one branded public destination.

The responsive layout is intended to work across desktop and mobile devices, while public content remains separated from private account, member, and moderation information.

## Media, events, and engagement

Featured Twitch streams, YouTube videos, clips, events, and announcements give communities more ways to keep their visitors informed and involved. Public media and events are shown through approval and safety checks so the discovery experience remains useful and trustworthy.

YCYC Hub also includes an authenticated UpVote experience for eligible public community and media listings. A member can support an item with one UpVote, remove their own UpVote later, and help surface popular content without exposing private account details.

## A safer foundation for public communities

Public listings are designed around approved content, controlled synchronization, safe public summaries, and protections against unsafe or unsuitable material appearing in discovery areas. This helps communities grow while keeping private member data, contact details, credentials, and moderation history out of public listings.

## What this means for members

* More ways to find communities that match your interests.
* Clearer public pages for community information, events, media, and Discord links.
* Better ways to discover active content and support communities through UpVotes.
* A responsive experience built for both desktop and mobile visitors.

YCYC Hub is continuing to expand these foundations as more community tools move from development into public availability. Watch the News & Announcements section for the next milestones.
