YCYC Hub continues to improve the tools that help communities stay organized, discoverable, and connected.
Forum organization
Forum administrators can now control the display order of categories and subcategories directly from the YCYC Hub Forum administration page. Categories and their child boards can be reordered independently while preserving parent relationships, moderation settings, and access rules. The saved order is validated on the server and has been verified on the public forum.
Discord activity improvements
The YCYC Hub Discord publisher now supports richer public platform activity updates. Main YCYC Hub Forum categories, topics, and replies can be sent to the dedicated forum-activity channel with useful context and content excerpts. Community-site tenant forums remain outside this platform feed.
The publisher also now supports a public Knowledge Base feed for eligible published YCYC Hub support articles. Each article can include its title, a short content excerpt, section information, and a direct link back to YCYC Hub. Delivery records prevent normal duplicate posts.
Live-stream alerts now support both the Stream Alerts and Live Now destinations. The publisher tracks each live session so a streamer is not reposted on every scheduled check, while a newly configured destination can still receive a currently active session.
Why this is better
These improvements make forum navigation easier for community members, give Discord users better visibility into platform activity, and keep support and live-stream updates organized without exposing private community-site content. The publisher uses server-side validation, delivery tracking, and rate-limit handling so scheduled updates can retry safely.
More platform improvements are continuing through the YCYC Hub roadmap.
