What happens when a community is suspended or deleted?

Updated 3 weeks ago 9 views

Suspension and deletion are serious lifecycle actions and should only be used when the owner understands the consequences.

Suspending a community records a reason and creates a support-ticket-backed action for the client. The community may be unavailable while the suspension is active. Contact support if the reason is unclear or you believe the action was made in error.

Deleting a community is permanent. The control center explains that deletion removes the tenant website files, private database, public directory content, and central YCYC Hub records. The support ticket and permanent deletion history remain. Before requesting deletion, export or preserve anything you are legally or operationally allowed to keep and confirm that the community is no longer needed.
