Getting ready for your first community launch

Updated 4 weeks ago 30 views

Before inviting members, review the public preview, publish a clear welcome page, add basic community rules, and decide who can administer the site. Test the forum, application form, roster visibility, announcements, and event display using non-sensitive sample content.

Only enable Discord, Twitch, RSS, email, public listing, and media sharing features after you understand what they publish and who can see it. Keep API credentials and private member details out of public pages.

After launch, check the activity log and support resources regularly, and update your rules and welcome information as the community grows.
